The Affiliate Program is a system that allows website publishers to earn commissions for traffic they generate on behalf of HotelsCombined.
SignUp and Start Earning
Any website can register for the Affiliate Program, provided it does not contain any content that is defamatory, adult or offensive in nature. It will be more beneficial if your website's content is specific to travel and/or accommodation, but that is not a requirement. Any relevant website can be used for the HotelsCombined Affiliate Program, including travel review sites, forums or blogs.
The Affiliate Program involves placing links to our content on your website(s). There is a wide range of linking strategies available, and Affiliates are encouraged to explore them to find the most suitable solutions for their websites.
How does the Affiliate Program work?
The Affiliate Program pays affiliates a commission each time an Internet User is directed via our content and lands on one of our Supply Partners' websites – this is referred to as a Lead. This means that Affiliates get paid each time one of their visitors runs a hotel comparison search on our website and then clicks through to a Supply Partner with the intention of making a booking.

Common methods for Affiliates to generate traffic for HotelsCombined involve placing hyperlinks, banners or interactive search boxes on their websites. These linking methods all pass through the Affiliate's Unique ID, so we know which Affiliate attracted which visitor. We even store this ID on the visitor's computer using a browser cookie, so that any time the visitor returns to our site over the next 365 days, we still attribute their commissions to the same Affiliate.
All the relevant HTML code and image URLs for all our linking methods are provided by HotelsCombined within the Affiliate Control Panel. This ensures that links are set up properly and that commission is properly tracked. It also makes linking to HotelsCombined a very easy task. The Affiliate needs only to copy and paste the supplied HTML code directly into their website.
Affiliates have the option of referring users directly to the HotelsCombined.com website, or to a white label version of the HotelsCombined.com website, utilising our Private Label solutions.
You can use your Affiliate Account with as many websites and/or web pages as you like. All the links you use will have your Affiliate ID.
If you wish to track your various link placements, you can do so by simply adding a label to each link. The reports can be broken down by Label so you can easily identify how the traffic from each website/web page performed, and how much revenue each placement has earned for you. You can add the Label parameter in the Link Generator section.
